#YemenGenocide and the Inaction of the United Nations and the International Community

Post from 31 May 2015, almost two months ago, regarding Yemen Humanitarian Crisis resulting from the illegal rogue attack by Saudi Arabia.

A group of human rights activists and international figures in a letter to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon voiced their concern about the Yemeni people’s dire need to humanitarian aid.

According to the International Union of Unified Ummah, the letter signed by 53 international human rights figures and organizations warned of the dire humanitarian situation in Yemen, and called for an immediate stop in the Saudi-led coalition airstrikes against the poor Arab nation.

In the letter signed by activists from the US, Britain, France, Scotland, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Portugal, Greece, India, Turkey, Indonesia, Malaysia, Palestine, Cambodia, South Africa and Nigeria, the signatories urged immediate dispatch of humanitarian aid to Yemen.

The International Union of Unified Ummah has also signed the letter and protested at the UN’s contradictory policies and slow pace of relief works in Yemen.

Things have become far worse since then and the entire so called International Community turns a blind eye. How many children we will allow to be murdered before we act?
